Remote School-Based Speech Therapist Minnesota Charter Schools
We’re seeking a Remote School-Based Speech Therapist to work with K–8 students attending Minnesota charter schools. In this 1099 contractor role, you will deliver high-quality speech-language services via teletherapy, help meet diverse student needs, and maintain full compliance with state special education regulations. This position emphasizes collaboration with small school teams and flexibility in scheduling. You'll enjoy independence in your work while being part of a responsive, mission-driven support network.
Responsibilities:

Provide teletherapy sessions to K–8 charter school students.

Collaborate closely with case managers and special educators.

Participate in IEP development and review meetings remotely.

Design functional, goal-oriented therapy plans.

Conduct screenings and evaluations using digital tools.

Track service delivery and maintain timely progress notes.

Consult with classroom teachers to integrate speech goals into instruction.

Adjust service delivery to support virtual or hybrid learning models.

Support bilingual and underserved student populations.

Ensure accurate documentation for state audits.

Coordinate with school counselors and social workers when needed.

Monitor student participation and engagement.

Submit service logs weekly through district portals.

Deliver make-up services as needed to maintain compliance.

Maintain communication with families through email or video calls.

VOCOVISION Requirements
· Must have a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
· Contractors must provide your their own liability insurance
· Comfortable being an independent contractor (1099)
· Home computer with high internet speed
· Passed basic tech screening
Interview Process:
- 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
- 20-30 minute Virtual Interview with the School District
- Offer is typically within 24-48 hours of the virtual interview
