Travel Speech Language Pathologist in Manitou Springs, CO
This full-time position requires a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve K-12 students in a high-needs school environment. The role is based in Manitou Springs, CO, and involves travel to meet the needs of various educational settings throughout the school year (CSY).
Responsibilities include:
- Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Providing direct therapy services and monitoring student progress
- Participating in team meetings and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with educational regulations
- Adapting therapy approaches to meet the diverse needs of students in a high-needs school setting
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working as an SLP within a school setting
- Ability to manage caseloads across multiple grade levels (K-12)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Flexibility to travel as required by the position
