A classroom-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support K-12 students in a school setting in Manchester, NH. This contract position runs for the current school year (CSY) and offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on children’s communication and learning skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students across K-12 grade levels
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Provide direct therapy and interventions targeting speech, language, fluency, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to monitor progress and adjust services accordingly
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory and educational standards
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Valid state certification or licensure to practice as an SLP in a school environment
- Experience providing speech and language therapy in K-12 school settings strongly preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations across various grade levels
