Position Details
This remote opportunity enables licensed SLPs to deliver essential services from anywhere while maintaining professional fulfillment and schedule control. The position is available in part-time or full-time capacity, accommodating your career preferences and lifestyle needs. You'll work with students facing various communication challenges, applying your clinical knowledge through engaging virtual sessions that promote meaningful progress.
Your Role and Responsibilities
You'll serve as a vital member of students' educational teams, providing specialized expertise in communication disorders and their impact on learning. Your responsibilities span evaluation, goal development, intervention, and consultation. Each day brings opportunities to help students improve their communication skills through carefully designed therapy sessions that incorporate motivating digital resources. You'll also support teachers and families with strategies to reinforce communication development beyond therapy sessions.
Key Accountabilities
Provide direct speech and language therapy services through video-based platforms
Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations to determine eligibility for services
Analyze assessment findings and make evidence-based recommendations
Develop IEP goals that address students' communication needs in educational contexts
Plan and implement therapy sessions targeting articulation, language, fluency, and voice
Use digital materials and interactive activities to maintain student engagement
Track and document student progress toward established communication goals
Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance and home practice
Attend team meetings virtually to contribute to comprehensive educational planning
Ensure all documentation meets New Hampshire state requirements and timelines
Candidate Requirements
We're looking for qualified professionals who possess:
Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology
Active New Hampshire speech-language pathology license
Master's degree from an accredited program in Speech-Language Pathology
At least 2 years of experience providing speech therapy in educational environments
Familiarity with special education processes and IEP development
Comfort with technology and virtual service delivery methods
Strong interpersonal skills for building therapeutic relationships remotely
Home workspace equipped with necessary technology and reliable internet access
