- Pre-K through 12th grade communication support for ELL populations
- Multi-categorical speech-language services across cultures
- Augmentative communication and assistive technology in native languages
- Social communication and pragmatic skills development for immigrant students
- Students with various communication needs from Hispanic/Latino communities
Essential Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive bilingual speech-language assessments
- Design culturally appropriate individualized therapy strategies
- Provide virtual communication therapy and support in Spanish/English
- Navigate cultural factors in IEP meetings and speech-language processes
- Implement school-wide communication initiatives for diverse populations
- Ensure compliance with ELL and speech-language regulations
- Coordinate with bilingual families and community resources
Certification Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence
- Current New Hampshire speech-language pathologist license
- Professional proficiency in Spanish and English
- Minimum 2 years of experience with bilingual/multicultural populations
- Knowledge of Hispanic/Latino cultural communication styles
- Experience with translated assessment instruments and therapy materials
- Strong advocacy skills for diverse student communication needs
