Speech Language Pathologist Remote Position - Manchester, NH

Position Description
We seek a committed Speech Language Pathologist to provide virtual therapy services to approximately 43-53 students across diverse grade levels from kindergarten through high school. This 36-hour weekly position utilizes our advanced virtual platform to deliver individualized speech and language interventions. The role emphasizes family engagement, collaborative practice, and innovative approaches to virtual therapy that maintain fidelity to evidence-based practices.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments using virtual evaluation protocols and tools
- Develop individualized intervention plans addressing specific student needs and IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy services through interactive virtual sessions with engaging digital materials
- Collaborate closely with educational teams, families, and related service providers
- Maintain detailed documentation of student progress, therapy sessions, and outcome data
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute professional expertise to educational planning
- Offer consultation and training to teachers on communication strategies and classroom supports
- Engage in continuous professional development focused on virtual therapy best practices
Student Population Characteristics
The caseload includes students with varied communication needs such as articulation disorders, receptive and expressive language delays, pragmatic communication challenges, and voice disorders. Students come from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, requiring culturally responsive and individualized intervention approaches. The virtual format allows for increased family involvement and flexible service delivery options.
Essential Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from regionally accredited institution
- Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology
- Current New Hampshire state licensure for Speech Language Pathology practice
- Minimum two years of school-based speech therapy experience required
- Demonstrated competency with virtual therapy platforms and digital assessment tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for virtual professional collaboration
- Ability to adapt traditional therapeutic interventions for effective virtual delivery
