School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Manassas, Virginia

Step into a rewarding school-based position supporting students’ speech and language development across the Dale City, Dumfries, and Woodbridge areas. This contract opportunity begins August 17, 2026, and runs through June 12, 2027, offering a consistent 35-hour workweek (7 hours daily) in a collaborative educational setting.
You will provide direct on-site services to students, utilizing assessment tools, developing individualized education plans, and partnering with teachers and families to maximize student outcomes. This role is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) with CCC credentials or Clinical Fellows (CFYs) ready to make a difference in local schools.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current, active VA Speech-Language Pathology license required
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience within school settings highly preferred
- SLP-CCC preferred (Clinical Fellowship candidates also considered)
- Strength in collaboration and communication with multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with IEP documentation and progress reporting
- Ability to deliver effective therapy to a diverse K-12 caseload
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and IEP updates
- Collaborate with educators, families, and professionals to support student success
- Participate actively in eligibility, staffing, and parent meetings
- Deliver direct, onsite speech therapy to students as required by district expectations
