Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Magalia, CA

Key Qualifications:

- Previous experience working with K-12 students preferred
- Skilled in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a range of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Familiarity with IEP development and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to effectively communicate with students, staff, and families
- Organized, compassionate, and motivated to support student success
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students across K-12 grade levels
- Complete comprehensive speech/language assessments and participate in eligibility determinations
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators and families
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, sharing expertise and recommendations
- Serve as a resource for teachers and staff regarding speech/language development and intervention strategies
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs and foster a positive learning environment
