Speech and Language Pathologist in Magalia, CA
Located in Magalia, CA, this K-12 school-based role offers an excellent opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students through a contract position for the current school year. The position focuses on delivering comprehensive speech and language services to a diverse pediatric population within an educational setting.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough evaluations of students with speech and language disorders
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Providing targeted therapy sessions aimed at improving speech and language skills
- Monitoring and accurately documenting student progress and outcomes
- Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
- Engaging and educating families to actively participate in the therapy process
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology required; an active state license approved by the State Board is mandatory
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric or school-age populations strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
