School Speech Language Pathologist - Machesney Park, Illinois

Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Illinois SLP licensure or eligibility
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY status accepted
- Previous school-based experience preferred but not required
- Comfort working in both general and special education classrooms and with students on the autism spectrum
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to supporting student success
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments and therapy for elementary-aged students
- Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in accordance with school and district policies
- Support students in both general education and special education settings
