Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as required
- Previous experience with middle and high school students preferred
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with teachers and staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide individualized therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress reports, and maintain student records
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop effective Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Conduct group and one-on-one therapy sessions tailored to student needs
- Support classroom teachers with strategies to facilitate communication and success within the curriculum
- Attend meetings and contribute expertise to student support teams
