A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at a middle school serving grades 5-8 in Lynn, MA. This contract position begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the current school year.

This role focuses on providing specialized speech and language services within a school setting for pediatric clients. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in educational environments and possess strong skills in pediatric speech-language pathology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
  • Implement therapy sessions tailored to the communication needs of upper elementary and middle school students
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress
  • Maintain detailed documentation and comply with school and state regulations
  • Participate in team meetings and provide professional recommendations for student accommodations and interventions

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is acceptable for consideration
  • Background in pediatric speech-language pathology, particularly within schools or healthcare settings
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills suitable for working in an educational environment
  • Ability to manage caseload effectively and demonstrate flexibility in scheduling
