Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Lynn, MA

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at a middle school serving grades 5-8 in Lynn, MA. This contract position begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the current school year.
This role focuses on providing specialized speech and language services within a school setting for pediatric clients. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in educational environments and possess strong skills in pediatric speech-language pathology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Implement therapy sessions tailored to the communication needs of upper elementary and middle school students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation and comply with school and state regulations
- Participate in team meetings and provide professional recommendations for student accommodations and interventions
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is acceptable for consideration
- Background in pediatric speech-language pathology, particularly within schools or healthcare settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills suitable for working in an educational environment
- Ability to manage caseload effectively and demonstrate flexibility in scheduling
