A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide comprehensive assessment and therapy services for students in a K-12 school setting located in Lynn, MA. This contract position spans the full school year (NSY) and offers an excellent opportunity to support diverse learners in their communication development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify areas of need
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and progress
- Participate in meetings such as IEPs to discuss student progress and goals
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure/certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working in K-12 school settings preferred
- Comfort and skill in managing therapy caseloads for school-age children
- Familiarity with school-based documentation and special education processes
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred but not required
