School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Luverne, Alabama

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an elementary school serving PreK through 5th-grade students. This role offers the opportunity to support communication development across two school sites, providing essential therapy services to young learners. The contract duration is from ASAP through the end of the school year (EOSY), with a 37.5-hour workweek.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students from PreK to 5th grade.
- Manage caseload across two school locations.
- Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and implement therapy plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience working in school settings preferred.
- Strong knowledge of speech-language disorders in childhood and effective intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload with attention to individual student needs.
