Speech Language Pathologist in Leonardtown, MD
A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Leonardtown, MD, serving K-12 students under a contract lasting from January 5, 2026, through June 16, 2026. This position supports approximately 35–40 students focusing on articulation, fluency, special education classrooms, and school-based evaluations and assessments.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services aligned with individual student IEP goals.
- Collaborate with educators and special education staff to support students’ communication needs.
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to inform therapy planning.
- Manage a caseload primarily consisting of K-12 students requiring articulation and fluency support.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Speech Language Pathologist in the State of Maryland or eligible for licensure (January/February start preferred).
- Experience in schools or pediatric settings.
- Knowledge of the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process and goal development.
Work Details:
- Start Date: January 5, 2026 (second semester start).
- End Date: June 16, 2026.
- Hours: 35 hours per week, 5 days per week.
- Age Group: K-12 or elementary only.
