A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in an elementary school setting in Lowell, MA. This contract role is onsite with a 4-day workweek during the current school year (CSY). The ideal candidate will provide specialized speech and language support to elementary-aged students, contributing to their academic and communicative success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat speech, language, fluency, and communication disorders among elementary school students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and communicate regularly with stakeholders.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise to support student needs.
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
- Demonstrated experience working with elementary school-aged children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within an educational team.
