School Speech Therapist | Framingham, Massachusetts
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for a full semester at an elementary school in Framingham, MA. This contract role requires 32.5 hours per week and offers an immediate start date, continuing until filled internally. The position is onsite only due to caseload demands, serving primarily an ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and write detailed reports for student progress
- Deliver speech and language services tailored to individual IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and staff through consultations and regular communication
- Manage IEP development, including goal writing and progress documentation
- Provide specialized support for students utilizing AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices
Qualifications/Experience:
- Active SLP licensure in the state of Massachusetts
- Previous school-based SLP experience is required
- Experience working with students on the autism spectrum
- Proficient with AAC devices and their application in therapy
- Credentials accepted: CCCs (Certificate of Clinical Competence), Clinical Fellows (CFs), or strong Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
- CCCs are strongly preferred by the client
- Must successfully complete a CORI background check and fingerprints
- Ability to participate in a Zoom interview
