School Speech and Language Pathologist | Haverhill, Massachusetts
Provide specialized speech and language services for students from middle to high school in a K-12 educational setting located in Haverhill, MA. This onsite position offers a 32.5-hour workweek with a contract duration for the current school year, serving a moderate caseload of approximately 30 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to a diverse student population, focusing primarily on middle and high school students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student success strategies.
- Split daily schedule with half the time allocated to the high school setting.
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
- Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in middle and high school settings.
- Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 30 students efficiently.
- Commitment to supporting student development and success in speech and language skills.
