Essential Qualifications:

  • Current state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Experience working with children or adolescents in school environments preferred
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Familiarity with virtual therapy platforms, or willingness to train, for telepractice roles
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Provide direct therapy services according to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Conduct screenings and evaluate progress, maintaining accurate records and sharing updates with appropriate stakeholders
  • Participate in IEP meetings, offering input and recommendations to assist student success
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom routines
  • Stay current with best practices and maintain professional development requirements
