This position offers a rewarding opportunity for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) provider to support K-12 students in a school setting in Dekalb, IL. This contract role spans the current school year, starting immediately through May 21, 2026, with a 37.5-hour workweek and the possibility of part-time arrangements.

Key responsibilities include ensuring students can actively participate in classroom activities by addressing areas such as fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, and self-care skills. You will assist in modifying tasks or environments to accommodate student needs, perform diagnostic and evaluation testing, and deliver clear, comprehensive reports based on assessments and observations. Developing and maintaining Individualized Education Program (IEP) objectives or accommodations is essential, along with collaborating and communicating effectively with parents and colleagues to discuss student progress and areas requiring support.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois state license or qualification to obtain one
