Key Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Current or eligible Colorado SLP license
- Previous school-based SLP experience or strong interest in working in a school environment
- Effective collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and implement therapy in group and individual settings
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to a diverse caseload of K-12 students
- Conduct screenings and comprehensive evaluations to determine student needs
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports as required by the district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff conferences, and professional development as needed
