Speech Language Pathologist in Windsor, CO
A certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support students in a K-12 educational setting located in Windsor, CO. This contract position is available for the current school year, providing an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the communication development of children across grade levels.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school district policies and relevant regulations
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to educational planning
Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working as an SLP in educational settings, preferably with K-12 students
- Knowledge of school-based speech-language services, assessment tools, and intervention strategies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with a diverse team
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently within the school calendar year contract
