SLP in Longmont, CO
A opening for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is available in a K-12 school setting located in Longmont, CO. This contract position spans the current school year and offers the opportunity to work directly with students to support their communication development and related needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Deliver one-on-one and group therapy sessions to improve speech and language skills
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with school policies
- Participate in meetings and provide input on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working as an SLP in school settings, preferably K-12
- Strong understanding of speech and language development in children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in an educational environment
