Speech-Language Pathologist - Remote Teletherapy Role in Louisville, KY
VocoVision is seeking ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologists to provide virtual therapy services to students in Kentucky. Our teletherapy platform enables you to deliver high-quality speech and language intervention while working remotely. This position offers the opportunity to make a real difference in students' communication development through innovative service delivery!
You'll serve a caseload of approximately 45-55 students across elementary grade levels, working 37.5 hours per week. Your students will present with diverse communication needs including articulation and phonological disorders, language delays, fluency disorders, and pragmatic language challenges. The virtual setting provides unique opportunities for incorporating engaging digital materials and activities into your therapy sessions.
Key Responsibilities
Assessment and evaluation of speech-language skills using standardized and informal measures forms the foundation of your work. You'll develop individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals and deliver engaging therapy sessions that target each student's specific communication objectives. Progress monitoring through regular data collection ensures students are advancing toward their goals and helps guide treatment modifications when needed.
Collaboration is central to success in this role - you'll consult regularly with teachers about classroom accommodations and strategies to support communication development throughout the school day. Parent communication keeps families informed about their child's progress and provides home practice activities to reinforce skills. IEP meeting participation allows you to contribute your clinical expertise to educational planning teams.
Documentation requirements include session notes, progress reports, evaluation reports and IEP paperwork. You'll need strong organizational skills to manage caseload scheduling, therapy planning and administrative tasks efficiently in the virtual environment!
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA
- Active Kentucky speech-language pathology license
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Minimum 2 years school-based experience
- Reliable internet connection and appropriate technology setup
- Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and digital therapy materials
