Position Summary We're recruiting a skilled Speech Language Pathologist for our remote therapy program, offering 36 hours weekly with a diverse caseload of 40-45 students spanning pre-K through 8th grade. This role combines the flexibility of remote work with the rewarding experience of helping students overcome communication challenges.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide virtual speech and language therapy services using secure video platforms
- Conduct thorough evaluations to identify communication disorders and develop treatment plans
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions targeting speech sound production, language development, and fluency
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support comprehensive student care
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and document student progress
- Participate in virtual IEP conferences and contribute to educational planning
- Offer guidance to families and educators on communication enhancement strategies
Mandatory Requirements
- Master's degree from ASHA-accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA
- Active Kentucky speech-language pathology licensure
- Minimum 2 years of school-based practice experience
- Demonstrated competency in virtual therapy delivery methods
- Proficient use of technology platforms and digital documentation systems
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
Remote Work Specifications This position requires a professional home office environment with stable internet connectivity and appropriate privacy measures. Candidates should be comfortable with technology troubleshooting and adaptable to various virtual therapy platforms.
