This full-time role spans 37.5 hours a week, Monday through Friday, with a flexible caseload tailored to your strengths and the needs of the students. Responsibilities include conducting IEP assessments, collaborating with educators and families, and facilitating a smooth transfer of duties from the outgoing SLP to ensure continuity of care and documentation.
What We’re Looking For:
- Active SLP license for California.
- Experience working in school settings, especially in elementary education.
- Proficient with IEP assessment, documentation, and compliance.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, families, and staff.
- Ability to manage a flexible caseload and adapt to changing student needs.
- Familiarity with the transfer of duties and seamless service delivery during staff transitions.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform speech and language assessments for students, including IEP evaluations.
- Plan and deliver therapy interventions tailored to individual student goals.
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines.
- Serve as a resource for teachers and families, providing strategies that support student success.
- Support the transition process by coordinating with the exiting SLP and ensuring all services continue without disruption.
