This role involves providing essential speech and language support to preschool students, collaborating with the Preschool Assessment Team, and working within Mild Moderate 1-2 Special Day Classes (SDC). The position requires a dedicated professional comfortable working five days a week in an educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to preschool children.
- Participate actively in the Preschool Assessment Team to evaluate and identify students’ communication needs.
- Support students in Mild Moderate 1-2 SDC classrooms through targeted interventions and progress monitoring.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective IEP goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district policies and federal guidelines.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist credential or certification.
