Pediatric Speech Pathology - Los Angeles, CA
This role offers a unique opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students within a K-12 educational environment in Los Angeles, CA. The position is part-time, requiring commitment for 2 days a week throughout the current school year (CSY), and is offered on a contract basis.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP preferred)
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 populations
- Background in pediatric SLP services
- Competency in teletherapy methods and digital communication tools
- Completion or ongoing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is considered an asset
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support children's communication needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessed needs
- Deliver therapy services both in-person and via teletherapy platforms as appropriate
