A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in a high school setting in Los Angeles, CA. This role involves providing specialized speech and language services to approximately 90-100 students across two sites. The position requires strong case management skills, including updating Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and conducting assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services tailored to high school students’ individual needs.
  • Manage caseloads for approximately 90-100 students, ensuring compliance with educational standards and timelines.
  • Oversee two Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), providing guidance and supervision.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and maintain up-to-date documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support student progress and success.
  • Facilitate IEP meetings, developing and modifying goals as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist credential/licensure appropriate for school-based practice.
  • Experience working with adolescent populations, particularly in a high school environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise SLPAs and coordinate services across multiple sites.
  • Strong knowledge of speech-language assessment tools and intervention strategies.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

This full-time position operates on a typical 40-hour workweek throughout the academic year, offering a dynamic opportunity to support a diverse student population in a vibrant urban setting.
