Speech Language Pathologist – Elementary School Setting (Contract)
Location: Los Angeles, CA (Sun Valley Area)
We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to conduct an Independent Education Evaluation (IEE) for a student in an elementary school environment. This contract position is ideal for an SLP passionate about making a positive impact on children’s communication development through in-person evaluation.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive Independent Education Evaluations for students requiring speech and language assessment
- Collaborate with school staff and families to gather information and provide clear, detailed reports
- Utilize best practices and evidence-based techniques in pediatric speech-language pathology
- Communicate assessment results effectively to educators and caregivers to support individualized education planning
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid California Speech Language Pathology (SLP) License
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings
- Strong skills in teletherapy, independent evaluations, and pediatric speech-language intervention
- Ability to deliver services in an elementary school environment with a collaborative approach
