A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the current school year in a K-12 school setting located in Los Angeles, CA. This contract role is designed for a dedicated professional with Speech-Language Pathology expertise, holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students K-12.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports related to student evaluations and therapy.
- Provide therapy in-person, as virtual sessions are not included in this role.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist certification with CCC.
- Experience working within K-12 educational settings.
- Strong ability to create and implement individualized educational and therapeutic plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to supporting students’ communication development in a school environment.
This position is full-time and runs from ASAP through the end of the school year. While Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are not utilized in this role, clinical fellowships may be considered under appropriate supervision.
