A contract position is available in Los Angeles, CA, for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve in a high school setting. This role is ideal for professionals skilled in school-based speech-language pathology who are committed to supporting the communication development of adolescents.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to promote student progress
- Documenting and reporting on student performance and therapy outcomes
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to educational planning
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid certification and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working in a school environment, preferably with high school students
- Knowledge of educational regulations and best practices for speech-language services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and staff
- Ability to manage caseloads and maintain detailed records efficiently
