School Speech Language Pathologist - Los Angeles, California

A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide specialized services within a K-12 school setting in Los Angeles, CA for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract position begins August 18, 2025, and concludes June 3, 2026, with onsite responsibilities approximately 35 hours per week. The caseload typically includes 1-2 students, primarily at the elementary level but may extend from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment for speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and caregivers.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
- Participate in team meetings and maintain detailed documentation.
- Support student communication needs across academic and social environments.
Qualifications:
- Current California Licensed Speech Language Pathologist with Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC).
- Experience working with children in educational settings, preferably across multiple grade levels.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, families, and school staff.
