Speech Therapist in Los Angeles, CA
A contract position is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a K-12 educational setting located in Los Angeles, CA. This opportunity spans the 2025-2026 school year, starting in Fall 2025 and concluding in Spring 2026, with a commitment of approximately 26 hours per week.
Responsibilities include providing specialized speech and language services to a caseload of 38 students with diverse communication needs across kindergarten through 12th grade. The ideal candidate will develop and implement personalized therapy plans, monitor progress, and collaborate with educators and families to support student success.
Qualifications:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with students aged K-12
- Strong knowledge of various speech and language disabilities and effective intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
