A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the current school year, offering service at an elementary school in Los Angeles, CA. This contract position runs from ASAP through the end of the school year (EOSY) and requires managing a K-12 caseload of approximately 45-60 students. The role follows a Monday through Friday schedule and is ideal for a qualified SLP ready to make an immediate impact within a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver effective intervention strategies.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress and communication skills.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Active California Speech-Language Pathologist certification and license.
- Experience working with a diverse elementary student population.
- Strong caseload management skills for 45-60 students.
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet individual student needs.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
