A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Los Angeles, CA, serving an elementary school setting. This contract position offers the chance to work with a diverse K-12 student population across multiple sites. The role is scheduled for the current school year, beginning ASAP.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students across K-12 age groups.
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to enhance student communication skills.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of effective communication interventions.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or School Speech-Language Pathologist certification.
- Experience or interest in working within an educational environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently and adapt to varying student needs.
- Commitment to supporting student growth and development.
Position Details:
- Location: Los Angeles, CA
- Schedule: 5 days per week, 35 hours per week (excluding lunch)
