Applicants must have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program, a valid and New Mexico Speech-Language Pathology License issued by the New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department, and current or eligibility for New Mexico Public Education Department (PED) licensure to work in schools.
Those who do not meet the outlined requirements will not be considered for this role.
Details:
- Location: Los Alamos, NM
- Full Time (40 hours per week)
- Caseload: Pre-K and Elementary grades doing testing and evaluations. The district likes to discuss more details at the time of interview to see the best fit based on experience.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet all local and state requirements, including:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active New Mexico Speech-Language Pathology License issued by the New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) may also be considered
- Current or eligibility for New Mexico Public Education Department (PED) licensure to work in schools
- Background check and fingerprint clearance as required by the district and state regulations
- Prior experience working with school-aged children, especially Pre-K and elementary, is strongly preferred
