Speech Language Pathologist in Longview, WA
Make a difference for students across a range of ages and needs as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist in Washington. In this dynamic school-based contract position, you’ll work across elementary, middle, and high school settings during the 2026-2027 academic year, collaborating with educators and supporting learners with a variety of disabilities from mild to severe.
This is a full-time opportunity, Monday through Friday, offering 7-hour days with an engaging, collaborative school culture. Interviews will be held promptly, available via Zoom or in person for your convenience.
Qualifications:
- Valid Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist License (Dept. of Health)
- OSPI ESA license with SLP endorsement (fully licensed required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Expertise with school-aged populations (elementary through high school)
- Ability to support students with a spectrum of disabilities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience in school settings preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students (onsite)
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Document services, maintain records, and meet all compliance requirements
- Adapt therapy approaches for diverse learning needs and communication styles
