School Speech Language Pathologist - Aurora, Colorado
A K-8 school located in Aurora, CO, is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position spanning from December 1, 2025, to May 29, 2026. This role emphasizes providing direct speech-language services to a diverse caseload in a supportive educational environment.
Responsibilities include delivering direct therapy to students, conducting assessments and evaluations, attending IEP and 504 meetings, providing consultations, and handling referrals. The caseload consists of approximately 35-40 students across K-8, with 20-25 students classified as mild/moderate needs and 10-15 with moderate/severe needs. This position requires a commitment of 37.5-40 hours per week.
Candidates must hold a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology and be licensed for school-based practice in Colorado (CDE licensure required). Please note, the client requires on-site candidates only and cannot accept clinical fellows (CF) or speech-language pathology assistants (SLPA).
