Speech and Language Pathologist - Arvada, CO
This opportunity is for a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized services in a K-8 school setting located in Arvada, CO. This contract position runs from December 1, 2025, through May 29, 2026, with a weekly schedule of 37.5 to 40 hours. The role focuses on delivering direct speech and language therapy tailored to students’ needs alongside ongoing assessments and participation in educational planning meetings.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direct speech and language therapy services to a caseload of 35-40 students, ranging from mild/moderate to moderate/severe needs
- Conducting evaluations, assessments, and referrals to support student progress
- Participating in IEP and 504 meetings to collaborate with educators and families
- Consulting with teachers and staff to implement strategies that enhance student communication skills
Preferred qualifications and requirements:
- Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Eligibility to work as an SLP in school settings; candidates must be fully licensed and cannot be Clinical Fellows (CF) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA)
- Experience working with students across kindergarten through 8th grade
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload with varying levels of complexity
- Compliance with Colorado Department of Education requirements (please provide your current CDE license with your application)
