A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available for a leave contract at an elementary school in Longmont, CO, starting January 5, 2026, through April 29, 2026. This position provides a manageable caseload of fewer than 50 students at Kohl Elementary within the Boulder Valley School District. The schedule is 0.7 FTE, approximately 28 hours per week, with all duties performed in person.
Qualifications:
- Current Colorado licensure or active application for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working directly with elementary school students in a classroom setting
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred but not required
- Ability to manage a caseload typical of a school setting (under 50:1 student-to-staff ratio)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students on the caseload
- Collaborate with educators to support student communication needs within the classroom environment
- Complete all required documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education programs (IEPs)
Location: Longmont, CO – Elementary School (Kohl Elementary in Boulder Valley School District)
This contract position offers valuable experience with a supportive caseload in a dynamic school setting. Candidates must be available for full-time work at 28 hours per week and able to work on-site exclusively.
