Position Summary
A school district in Lombard is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide short-term coverage for their Early Childhood program. This role includes working with a caseload of young learners who present with a range of communication needs. The district uses the Embrace IEP system and maintains a supportive early childhood team environment.
Primary Duties

Provide direct therapy to preschool-aged students

Support communication needs related to Speech Only, Developmental Delay, and Autism

Conduct assessments and contribute to eligibility and IEP meetings

Document progress and services within the Embrace platform

Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to support student growth
Qualifications

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Active Illinois SLP License and Professional Educator License (PEL)

Early childhood or preschool experience preferred

Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
