Pediatric School-Based SLP | Palisade, Colorado
This full-time opportunity is ideal for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) eager to support students in a school setting during the 26/27 school year. The role is based in Palisade, CO, and involves working at one or two school sites, providing a balanced mix of direct and indirect therapy services that align with educational goals.
Responsibilities include delivering high-quality speech and language therapy services to pediatric students, conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with educators and families to support student progress. Approximately 50-55% of your time will be spent in direct student interaction, while 45-50% will focus on planning, documentation, and team meetings essential for effective service delivery.
Candidates must hold a current Colorado state license as an SLP and have CDE certification. A Master’s degree in Communicative Disorders or a related field is required. Experience working in pediatric settings or schools, particularly during Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), is highly valued. Commitment to fostering communication skills and positively impacting student outcomes is essential.
