School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Logansport, Indiana

Make a meaningful difference by providing speech-language services to K-12 students during the upcoming academic year. This full-time, onsite contract position runs from August 5th through May 31st and is based near Logansport, IN. Your expertise will help students improve their communication skills and achieve their educational goals in a supportive school environment. There is also a need for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) at another campus, providing additional opportunities for skilled professionals.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but strong CFY candidates will be considered
- Experience delivering speech therapy services to K-12 students
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Professionalism and adaptability in a school setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students across grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and parents
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services
- Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and documentation as required by the school and state
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to foster students’ progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student support plans
