A K-12 school in Stockton, CA is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide onsite services for the current school year on a contract basis. This position supports students from kindergarten through 12th grade with speech and language needs in a dynamic educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students across grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans targeting communication skills
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with school policies and state regulations
- Participate in meetings, such as IEPs, to communicate student progress and recommend interventions
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology certification; the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
- Experience working with K-12 student populations in educational settings
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders as they relate to school-aged children
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to provide onsite therapy services in a full-time capacity throughout the school year
