A contract position is available for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in Pre-School services in Lockport, NY. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for pre-school-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote communication progress
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Participate in team meetings and assist with compliance of school-based speech therapy standards
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification as Speech Language Pathologist with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred but not required
- Experience working in school settings, especially with Pre-K or Pre-School populations
- Strong understanding of early childhood speech and language development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, families, and educators
