Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Lockhart, Texas

Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent)
- Valid SLP license; ASHA CCC-SLP certification or Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) eligibility
- Direct experience working in school-based or pediatric SLP roles
- Demonstrated proficiency in supervising SLPAs
- Strong knowledge of evaluation, ARD procedures, and individualized goal writing
- Ability to manage elementary school caseloads professionally and compassionately
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop personalized treatment plans
- Write targeted, measurable goals for student progress and document outcomes
- Lead and participate in ARD (Admission, Review, Dismissal) meetings and interdisciplinary collaborations
- Supervise and support SLPAs, providing ongoing guidance and mentorship
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students, ensuring evidence-based practice
- Communicate progress to educators, staff, and families, fostering an inclusive, supportive approach
