A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in New Braunfels, TX, on a contract basis within a school setting. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing specific communication goals
- Provide direct therapy sessions tailored to each student’s needs
- Monitor, assess, and document student progress accurately and regularly
- Collaborate closely with educators, specialists, and other team members to coordinate care
- Engage families to support the therapy process and promote communication development at home
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology in Texas is required
