A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a K-12 school setting located in Lock Haven, PA. This onsite position focuses on providing services primarily for preschool and early intervention students. The role is structured as a contract for the 2023-2024 school year, with an immediate start date and continuing through the end of the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in preschool and early intervention students.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with preschool and early intervention populations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Location: Lock Haven, Pennsylvania
Work Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week, onsite
