Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Llano, CA
Help make a meaningful impact in students’ lives by providing essential speech and language support in a vibrant school environment. This contract opportunity places you in a full-time, onsite role, working 33 hours a week with a manageable caseload of 55 students. You’ll play a key part in supporting academic growth and communication development for learners of all ages.
Ideal candidates should bring experience and enthusiasm for working with K-12 populations in an educational setting. You will have the chance to collaborate closely with educators and families, delivering high-quality speech-language assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring in an engaging, supportive environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in schools or with pediatric clients preferred
- Proficiency in designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and organization skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and deliver targeted interventions for students on your caseload
- Craft and update IEP goals, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Keep accurate records of services, progress notes, and required documentation
- Educate family members, teachers, and staff about effective communication strategies
- Attend meetings and contribute to school-based decisions related to student care
